Nature of the work. The journal will consider articles based on research work, in the disciplinary areas of accountability, transparency, fight against corruption, supervision, professionalization, citizen participation and related issues. The manuscripts sent may not be submitted simultaneously to the consideration of another journal for publication.
Writing. The length of the works - including footnotes and bibliography - must be between 8,000 and 11,000 words written in Times New Roman at 12 points with line spacing 1.5.
About the authors. At the beginning of the text, the name of the author(s), the institution to which it belongs and the complete postal and electronic address, for correspondence, will be indicated. In addition, attach your orcid.org account in a curricular semblance of the author(s) that does not exceed seven lines.
Summary. The authors must include a summary of their 50-word manuscript in Spanish and English with five key concepts.
Format. The format of the articles must be in Word, the citations and references must be prepared according to the APA format 7th edition (author, year: page).
- Tittle in English and Spanish.
- All titles and section subtitles must be clear and concise.
- When the article contains textual quotations of up to 5 lines or up to 40 words, these must be in the body of the text, in quotation marks. If the extension is greater, they must be written in a separate paragraph, with indentation on both sides, without quotation marks and with a single space. When the citation contains aggregates of the author, they must be enclosed in harenches. Every quote made in the text must be accompanied by the corresponding bibliographic reference.
- For the use of acronyms or acronyms, the first time they are mentioned they must be written in parentheses and preceded by the full name.
- The footnotes and references will contain the complete bibliographic information: names and surnames of the authors; title (in quotation marks if it is an article, in italics if it is a book); name of the compilers, coordinators, etc., if any; place of edition, publisher, year of publication and number of pages.
- Tables, figures and tables must have descriptive titles and font.
- Notes with their fonts should be immediately below.
If the text contains visual or graphic elements, they must also be delivered in an attached file, in the program in which they were originally prepared (Excel or others), so that they can be modified if necessary.
Bibliographic references. The bibliography must be presented at the end of the work, ordered alphabetically and conform to the following scheme:
1. Books: surnames, name, year (in parentheses), title (in italics), city, publisher.
2. Article compiled in book: surnames, name, year (in parentheses), title (in quotation marks), the word in, name of the compiler, title of the book (in italics), city, publisher.
Dictamination. The magazine RC Accountability will send the originals for an opinion, with specialists in the field, following the principle of double-blindness. Only articles that receive two positive opinions will be considered for publication.
Assignment of rights. The authors retain the copyright and grant RC Rendiciòn de Cuentas the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NonDerivs 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which allows third parties to share the work provided that the authorship and initial publication in this journal are recognized, it is not used for commercial purposes or derivative works are made.
Authors may establish independent additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (for example, including it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided that it is clearly indicated that the work was originally published in this journal.
The electronic documents corresponding to the content of the magazine are published in digital format to allow their free, free and permanent access.
Privacy. The names and email addresses and other data of the authors will be used exclusively for the stated purposes and will not be available for any other purpose or other person.
Publication guidelines for reviews
