Abstract

The article examines the determinants of Whistleblowing and whistleblowers in corruption matters. This mechanism has been placed at the center of the debate for its effectiveness in anti-corruption processes, however, how is Mexico in the construction of a Whistleblowing culture? The understanding of the contexts and reasons for blowing the whistle are unclear. The study proposes to explore these factors with data from the Whistleblowing Culture Survey of the Ministry of Public Service, 2019.
