Anti-plagiarism policy

The authors of the manuscripts sent to RC Cuentas are entirely responsible for the content of their collaborations, as well as ensuring that the works are original, unpublished and that they do not infringe the copyright of third parties.

As part of its commitment to editorial ethics and academic integrity, the journal applies a plagiarism prevention policy, for which all manuscripts received are subjected to a verification process using the specialized software iThenticate, used for the detection of similarities, plagiarism and other practices contrary to academic ethics, according to editorially accepted criteria.

In case plagiarism, self-plagiarism, citation manipulation, or any other dishonest practice is detected during this process, the manuscript will be rejected immediately and will not continue in the editorial process. The journal reserves the right to take the editorial measures it deems relevant, in accordance with its policies and the principles of ethics in scientific publishing.
