Focus and scope

RC Rendición de Cuentas is an open access printed and digital magazine. Its purpose is to articulate and promote a space of national and international resonance for research on accountability in Spanish and with emphasis on the countries of the Latin American region. It seeks to consolidate a network of academic cooperation in this field of research.

The journal publishes research papers whose main axis is accountability in the thematic fields of transparency, auditing, fighting corruption, public responsibility and associated topics. It publishes two volumes a year and is structured in three sections: a) articles; b) conferences and; c) a section of reviews (of books, data and numeralias).

The target or target audience is the community of academics, professors, researchers, postgraduate research students in the area of social sciences and all the public interested in the topics of the journal.

The periodicity of the magazine is semi-annual (January-June and July-December). Each issue will be published within the first two months of its respective period. Starting with issue number 7, the print run will be 200 copies, in addition to the corresponding electronic version. The print run is subject to budgetary changes that may occur in subsequent issues.

RC Rendición de Cuentas is published by the University of Guadalajara, through the Institute for Research in Accountability and Combating Corruption (IIRCCC), sponsored at the University Center for Economic-Administrative Sciences (CUCEA).

The magazine does not charge for the submission, ruling, publication or any other editorial process of the articles.
